Last month I went up to Manchester with my boyfriend to attend his friend Zoe's launch party for "the child hood issue" of her magazine, Double. The party was 80s themed with dress up boxes and lots of famous face masks. Me and bf did a spot of dress up ourselves but I think the pictures are best left unseen.

"DOUBLE MAGAZINE is a London & Manchester based magazine, website and events team.

We are dedicated to showcasing the newest, freshest and most exciting talent within fashion and music. We work with the idea of promoting the most underground and innovative people before the big bad media world get their hands on them. We want to expose the best new designers, photographers, stylists, musicians, bands and writers via our magazine, website and secret parties. If you are interested in getting involved with DOUBLE get in touch via the CONTACT info on the homepage.

Sometimes you have to ask the question: How much do you want? Double vodka and coke, double cheeseburger and chips, double dating, double trouble… Double Magazine! More is more. Society scuffles at the feet of the Culture of Entitlement and you know you want a side of fries with that. So we’ve spun together a combination of pictures and images to create a magazine which burrows to the core of what we all want – fashionable happenings and a great soundtrack running in the background."

The themes for the magazine are all thought out with the latest being the spiritual issue. The typography is really playful and definitely gives an impression of a fun and youthful magazine which is something we also want to capture within Quarter.
