BRIEF zine

Oooooh heres another fun 'adult activity' thingy majig we could include in Quarter . . . STENCILS! Brief Zine is a brand new, hot off the press zine which is entirely made up of stencils. Pretty simple idea but WOW imagine what fun you would have, especially on those boring rainy summer days etc etc.
For Quarter we could design stencils relevant to icons that will be found in the zine, that people can stencil onto all their little summer must-haves e.g. surf board, rubber ring, cap peak, blah blah blah you get my drift.

For our online presence, as well as i-phone apps we're looking into the possibility of creating a game especially for Quarter's summer issue. Not quite sure how accesible this is going to be but its worth a shot, so watch this space.

IPHONE application.

After sophie yesterday talked about urbanspoon and a possible development of an iphone app, I thought about this shake away app that I had downloaded. Simply shake your iphone and you will get a delicious outcome for a milkshake every time. Could we develop a possible shaker app for our season tips? We want to stay ORIGINAL so we are looking at lots of different opinions. We are very excited about this.

WILDfox couture.

We've been looking at all sorts of photoshoots to gain inspiration for our own which is due to take plac next week. So far its WildfoxCouture which comes up trumps because we love their playfulness which is so obvious to see. The pan for ours is to get a little tipsy and just go abit mental really (and hope the sun is shining!) Love the first image too cuz everyones had their heart broken one summer...mine mostly because the sun always cancels our dates.....

Also to get that personal edge in our zine we want to hear stories. so come on everyone, SPILL.

What the fuck should I have for dinner?

After our presentation yesterday, Its clear that its very important to engage with our readers at all times and make sure they can really interactive with our zine.

I came across this website via a friends profile on facebook. If you stuck for something to make something for dinner, this will give you a helping hand to decide. maybe in a little offensive way but its all fun Im sure. Everytime you refresh the page you will get a new idea.

I love this idea and think we could adapt it for Quarter.
